Objectives of MYM Conference

To Encourage True Leadership in Middle Managers:

A Middle Manager is a leader who should be seen as a core professional who inspires others with passion and motivation, they should be seen as one who supports their team and helps to build individual members so they can achieve their goals.

To Harness Self-Aware Leaders who are Authentic:

A Middle Manager is a leader who realizes their strength and weaknesses and is able to admit where they need improvement; this is a characteristic of an authentic leader.

To Inspire Servant Leadership in Mid-Management:

Middle Managers should be exemplary with traits such as integrity, a great level of judgment, and confidence.  Being a servant leader means appreciating the power of teamwork, as this can be seen as a way to build an organization through success and growth.

To Empower Middle Managers to Lead by Example:

Middle Managers are direct and should lead by example. Communication is essential to leadership and a leader needs to create a mutual sense of understanding and trust in leading by example.
