Building Morale and Effective Communication Strategies

MYMC understands that Workplace morale and effective communication has a direct impact on the performance and quality of work that your team produces.

High employee morale and communication encourages: Greater attention to detail: In a setting where morale is high, employees pay greater attention to details because they are more emotionally invested in the outcome of their work. The importance of morale in the workplace cannot be underestimated. This factor has a direct impact on your employees’ well-being, performance, efficiency, and quality of work. Employees with high morale are more productive, deliver better results and stay with a company longer. If the organization is going through a crisis, they will work harder to help it survive and achieve its goals.

MYM C Knows that Effective communication in the workplace is an integral element of a business’s success; it enhances relationships within the company and with clients, and it increases employee engagement and the overall effectiveness of a team. On the other hand, when teams fail to communicate effectively, the results are detrimental to the business. This seminar is being conducted to rectify and guide participants in building morale and effective communication strategies.

Transformation From Team Leader/ Supervisor To Manager

Making the move from supervisor to manager isn’t a simple one. Working the way you used to work just isn’t going to cut it anymore. The three key areas that allow you to be successful in a managerial role are your thoughts and mindset, your behaviors and the tools and strategies you use. If you’re already a manager but aren’t moving forward, it’s more than likely that it’s because you’re lacking in one of these three areas. If you can combine each of these three areas and work well in them, it’ll make stepping into a managerial role much easier. More importantly, there are 10 shifts in the mindset you should work on to be successful as a new manager.

1 – Learning to delegate – Successfully moving from supervisor to manager relies heavily on shifting your mindset. You need to broaden your perspective and way of viewing your role.

2 – Short view vs long view – In any role, it’s easy to have tunnel vision, just getting the job done from beginning to end.

3 – Coaching your team – Another area that requires a mindset shift is in telling your team what to do. Instead, you should think of your role as coaching your team on what to do.

4 – Taking initiative

5 – Giving feedback

6 – Holding yourself accountable

7 – Finding the balance

8 – Being part of the bigger team

9 – Leading by example

10 – Emotional competence

Why Is Interviewing Techniques Important ?

Few interviewers are trained to conduct excellent interviews. Interviewers try to ask questions that, in their experience, will give them the information needed to make the selection of the best candidate for the job. The result is an attempt to stay within guidelines (i.e. not asking questions about race, age, etc.) while eliciting answers to important issues surrounding the open position.Interview questions may reflect the most recent experience the hiring manager had with the last person in this position. For example, questions might surround transportation issues or availability to work overtime or other issues that interfered with the smooth performance of the last person in the position.

No matter what questions are asked, however, there are three basic issues that must be addressed:

  • Can the person do the job?
  • Will the interviewee do the job?
  • Will the person fit in?
